Grizzly Bear Hot Springs is located on the south bank of a creek 3.5 kilometres west of Grizzly Bear Lake’s southwest corner. Nááts’ihch’oh National Park Reserve is a Canadian national park reserve encompassing parts of the South Nahanni River watershed in the Northwest Territories.

The name means “stands like a porcupine” in the Dene language.
Each of the four pools flows into the one below, which is roughly 50 feet above the creek. The top pools are filled with hot water that bursts up. It’s a clear, odourless liquid with a high concentration of dissolved minerals. There is a lot of tufa in the area.
