East Cantung Hot Springs are small springs of warm water coming from beneath the boulders on the northeast side of the Flat River. They are at the base of a slope about 900 ft from the river and 600 feet Downstream from the West cantung Hot Springs. The Springs are supposedly accessible by Road from Tungsten. The water is warm, has a faint sulphur odour, and supports a group of green and yellow algae.
